Introduction to Colored Pencil Painting – Classic Rose Painting
Although drawing with colored pencils is one of the first artistic skills we learn, we normally grow up without using them to their potential. Colored pencils can produce stunning and highly detailed paintings that rival oil. This class will familiarize you again with your old favorite by taking you through some of the basic techniques used to produce colored pencil paintings, and then you’ll use those same techniques to produce a painting of a classic – a beautiful red rose. You may also find how relaxing using colored pencils can be. All materials will be supplied.

3/28 & 3/30 • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Price: $65.00 / $70.00

Stained Glass Pick-A-Pattern
Pick any pattern that was offered in the Fall 2015 or Winter 2016 semesters and make that project. Get ahead for holiday gift giving! All skill levels welcome. Advanced students can choose a more challenging pattern. Beginners will learn each of the six steps: choosing glass, cutting out the pattern, cutting your glass, grinding the edges of the glass to accept the foiling stage and then soldering all of the parts together for a finished piece.

5/23, 5/24 & 5/25 • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Price: $50.00 / $55.00

Stained Glass Open Lab
This Stained Glass Lab (Studio 1) will be open for you to work on any stained glass project you’d like starting this winter and going to the end of Summer. Want to create a panel over the course of many weeks? Maybe there’s a smaller project you missed that you’d like to make. You might even want to come in and hone your skills. The lab will be open for you to use regardless of your skill level. Work at your own pace on Thursday evenings, 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Diane will be available to help you complete your projects, answer questions, and to ‘talk shop’.  Bring your own supplies.

5/19 OR 5/26 • 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
